Happy Animals believes that overall there is tremendous shortage of resources for treatment and rescue of animals. However the balance is far much more skewed as you move away from the top 20 cities of India. In most towns and cities system for care of street animals do not exist. The only hope for them are the ordinary citizens of the country. In every area of the country, there are a few individuals who care for the animals and are called in when an animal is in distress. We intend to provide financial support to these extra-ordinary animal lovers across India. We intend to help them with medical expenses on case to case basis. This will make the work less taxing and more effective for such amazing people and reach out to the souls that would otherwise suffer and die untreated.
